Your Gift at Work
Your donation supports seedlings, land preparation, planting, maintenance, monitoring, and environmental education—helping turn open land into a living resource for biodiversity, climate resilience, and future generations.
Verena Foundation began this initiative with a $1,000 founding contribution from Dr. Hart Porsch. The first planting activity brought together the Foundation and members of the neighboring Mennonite community, turning the promise of restoration into work on the ground.

Our Action Plan
The Foundation’s 1,000-acre property is planned as one coordinated stewardship project: approximately 600 acres for new tree planting and conservation, and approximately 400 acres for future homes.
Contributions to A Tree for Our Planet support planting, conservation, maintenance, monitoring, and education—not residential development costs. The official subdivision map below shows how the residential and conservation areas fit together.
Long-term goal: plant up to 1.5 million trees.
